Why are SWIF stanchions cylindrical?

The most common penetration on a roof is a cylindrical pipe penetration. This means that all roofing product manufacturers have standard details for this that are proven to stand the test of time. By constructing our SWIF Stanchions with schedule 40 pipe legs in 2”, 2.5”, 3” and 3.5” diameter sizes, we offer an adaptable, structurally sound solution that integrates fully with the building envelope.
